This Jayhawk resides in the KU Bookstore on level two of the Kansas Union. It is an original piece of the Allen Fieldhouse floor used from 1979-1992 and is approximately 8'4" from beak to heel. Three Final Four teams (1986, 1988, 1991) and one National Champion team (1988) competed on this floor. The floor spanned the career of three of the 8 KU Head Coaches; Ted Owens, Larry Brown and Roy Williams.
