KU Dining Services is a member of the National Association of College and University Food Services (NACUFS) and the Kansas Restaurant Association (KRA). Our menus and special events have received numerous awards over the years.
On our shelves you'll see many familiar brand names: Kellogg's®, Hidden Valley®, Coca-Cola®, Hillshire Farms®, Tyson®, Sara Lee®, and Campbell's®. "Better Bites" (a healthier option program), vegetarian and vegan selections, as well as expansive cereal, fruit and salad bars, are available at every meal.
Explore the bustling newly-renovated eatery, The Underground, located on the first floor of Wescoe Hall. Grab a chicken sandwich at Chick-fil-A®; sip delicious air-roasted coffee at Pulse, featuring The Roasterie Coffee; and snag some sushi from our diverse selection. Located in the "hub" of campus, you're never be too far away from great food.
The Kansas Union - KU's central student union - features not only a wealth of activities and convenient services tailored specifically for you, but a variety of popular dining options. At the Market, you can grab a Personal Pan Pizza from Pizza Hut®; or a hand-crafted Brella's sandwich.
And, if you're in a hurry, stop by any one of our snack bars or dining centers for a "Grab n' Go" sandwich and soda.
The best part? Charge money to your KU Card and use it to eat anywhere on campus.
Retail food court locations include The Underground, The Market, Crimson Café, and any one of our six Hawk Stop snack bar locations.
Mrs. E's (Ekdahl Dining Commons) located at 1532 Engel Road serves the 2,500 residents on Daisy Hill - McCollum, Ellsworth, Lewis, Hashinger, and Templin halls. Mrs. E's modern food court offers a minimum of 12 entrees at 8 stations and a beautiful vista of campus.
The Studio and Pulse are now open in the newly renovated Hashinger Hall. This retail operation includes late-night/early morning hours, pizza, sandwiches, a grill, Roasterie Coffee, and Frëshens Smoothies just to name a few.
Classes all day on campus? Stop by Gertrude S. Pearson (GSP). GSP is an all-female residence hall located at 500 West 11th Street, right on the edge of campus. GSP provides a more intimate dining room atmosphere, serving approximately 600 residents daily. Highlight of GSP Dining include the daily display cooking and cookouts in the GSP garden.
Working out at the Recreation Center? Cool down with a short walk to Oliver located at 1815 Naismith Drive. Oliver is a co-ed residence hall serving approximately 550 residents daily. A bonus for Oliver patrons is the sleek new retail operation, The O'Zone, featuring the popular Summit Subs and Hot Stuff Pizza.
The best part about a meal plan with KU Dining is the flexibility. You can use the all-you-care-to-eat portion of the plan in any of the residential dining locations and the KU Cuisine Cash (debit dollars) at any campus dining venue.
